Motherhood Session: Daffodils, Traverse City, Michigan
The first friend I made after moving to Traverse City happens to have three children the same ages as my three. Her family is wonderful and it makes me so happy to be able to document their growing family and some of their most special moments. Their youngest daughter turning one was no exception! Mallory knew we wanted to get some photos of her and a smash cake, but I was able to convince her to get in the camera for some shots before the party! I've said it before, but it's so important to get mama included. These will certainly be something they both cherish for years to come!

Spring at Historic Barnes Park
I love being able to include the beautiful landscape of Traverse City whenever possible. Half of the year can be too cold for littles outside, and I'm so thankful that they day of these photos the weather was perfect! Sweet Ester was able to go barefoot and lay in the grass with her mama! For the location, I chose Historic Barnes Park because it's quickly turning into my favorite locations. They always have the most beautiful grounds no matter the time of year. However, for our session in late May, this meant gorgeous daffodils were in bloom!
