I had the privilege of capturing Baby Mary’s first moments in a simple, netural session right here in Traverse City, and I’m so excited to share these images with you.
Dusti and her family recently moved to the area, and I was so glad I could do a newborn session for them. I had been wanting to try shooting in my guest bedroom, and Dusti was open to giving it a go—and I’m so happy we did! The clean, minimalist space worked perfectly for Baby Mary’s session. We kept things simple with minimal props and focused on capturing the natural beauty of those first few days. The soft lighting and film-inspired aesthetic allowed the delicate details to really shine, and I love how the images turned out.
This session truly reflects my approach to newborn photography—authentic, serene, and full of love. It’s all about capturing the purest moments, and I feel so grateful to have been able to do that for Dusti and her family.
