I’m still on a high from my time at the photography workshop at the gorgeous Beverly Harris House in North Dallas, hosted by the amazing Jessica Haderlie Photography and Cottonwood Collective.
I’m feeling so inspired after that experience, and when I got back home I couldn't wait to dive in editing the photos. This session was an absolute dream—golden light, soft neutral tones, and the sweetest family. We kept things super simple and organic, capturing their early days together in the most effortless but heartfelt way. Barefoot and surrounded by beautiful green vines and the cozy and bright historic home, every moment just felt timeless—a quiet celebration of new life, love, and connection.
Why Simple and Timeless?
For me, newborn photography is all about keeping it soft and natural. It’s about letting the love and connection shine through, not distracting with too many props or loud colors. Neutral tones and natural light just feel so classic and elegant. These are the kinds of images that will never go out of style, and you’ll treasure them for years to come.
What to Expect
My sessions are relaxed and baby-led—meaning you can just be yourselves, no stress! We usually do newborn sessions in the first two weeks, when babies are still sleepy and curl up in the sweetest little poses. I guide you through the whole thing, so you don’t have to worry about anything. It’s all about making it feel natural and easy, so you can just enjoy this special time together.
Capturing these early moments with your baby is one of my absolute favorite things to do, and I would love to create something beautiful for you. If you’ve been thinking about booking a newborn session, let’s make it simple, timeless, and a reflection of your family.
